The Punjab PDWP Approved Development Schemes of P&D and Road Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved seven development schemes of P&D and Road sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 24817.687 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 64th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided by the Punjab Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.         

The approved development schemes included:

  • Punjab Health Survey Round II, 2017 (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 35.00 Million
  • Construction of high level bridge over River Jhelum at Langarwala Pattan to Sahiwal in Sargodha and Khushab District (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 3019.560 Million
  • Dualization of Khanewal Lodhran Road (Section from km 00.00 to 40.00 length: 40 km) District Khanewal at the cost of PKR. 7933.221 Million
  • Dualization of Khanewal Lodhran Road (Section from 40.00 to 51.00= 11.00 km, District Vehari at the cost of PKR. 2535.128 Million
  • Dualization of Khanewal Lodhran Road (Section from 51.00 to 94.00= 43 km, District Lodhran at the cost of PKR. 7688.145 Million, Construction of Flyover on Khanewal Lodhran Road, at Chowk Matila District Vehari at the cost of PKR. 1148.217 Million
  • Construction of interchange on Khanewal Lodhran Road, District Khanewal at the cost of PKR. 2458.416 Million
