The PDWP Approved Three Development Schemes of Various Development Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of various development sector with an estimated cost of PKR. 495.615 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 31st meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.       

According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included:

  • Construction of road network to facilitate coal supply to power plant at Pind Dadan Khan (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 7.000 Million
  • Allied Burn & Reconstructive Surgery Centre, Faisalabad at the cost of PKR. 478.815 Million
  • Consultancy services for the preparation of ISO 17025-2005 accreditation of Drugs Testing Laboratory, Lahore. (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 9.800 Million
