The Punjab Government on Tuesday has approved five development schemes of different development sectors with an estimated cost of PKR: 5650.158 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 32nd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party of current fiscal year 2013-14 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi, says P&D spokesman. Provincial Secretary P&D Arif Anwar Baloch, members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to spokesman P&D, the approved development schemes included:
- Urban Water Supply Scheme Toba Tek Singh City at a cost of PKR. 860.183 Million
- Rehabilitation of Main Line Lower (UCC) RD.0+000 to 283+100 (Tail) (Revised) at a cost of PKR. 850.184 Million
- Construction of Judicial Complex at Multan (Revised) at a cost of PKR. 647.190 Million, Upgradation of Government General Hospital, Sammanabad, Faisalabad at a cost of PKR. 722.687 Million
- Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, Rawalpindi (2nd Revised) at a cost of PKR. 2569.914 Million
