The Punjab PDWP approved five development schemes of various sector

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved five development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 38624.317 million.

These schemes were approved in the 19th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, All Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included: Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control & Communication (PPIC3) Centre, Lahore (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 14,527.00 million, Promotion of Gram Cultivation through Life Saving Irrigation with Sprinkler System under Changing Climate at the cost of Rs. 380.080 million, Rehabilitation / ReConstruction / Wid. & Imp. Of Road from Sahiwal to Sillanwali via Farooqa length 26.17 km, Sargodha at the cost of Rs. 694.413 million, Third Party Validation of Roadmap Data on Basic Health Units and Rural Health Centers (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 21.524 million and Enhancing of Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Punjab at the cost of Rs. 23001.30 million.
