The Punjab PDWP approved Seven Development Schemes of various sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved seven development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 27891.92 million.

These schemes were approved in the 38th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, All Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included: Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Project Land Acquisition & Structural Compensation (Dera Gujjran to Chauburji) (Package-1) at the cost of Rs. 8233.464 million, Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Project Land Acquisition & Structural Compensation (Chauburji to Ali Town) (Package-2) at the cost of Rs. 9336.120 million, Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Project Land Acquisition & Structural Compensation (Depot at Dera Gujjran) (Package-3) at the cost of Rs. 1368.747 million, Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Project Land Acquisition & Structural Compensation (Stabling Yard at Ali Town) (Package-4) at the cost of Rs. 2827.604 million, Construction of Bridge over River Chenab at Shahbazpur to Connect District Gujrat with District Sialkot in Gujrat (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 4965.736 million, Dualization of Road from National Model School to Faisalabad Road Sharqpur Chowk Via Sarwar Shaheed Road Stadium and Qila length=3.54 km, Sheikhupura (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 710.249 million and Provision of Water Supply and Sewerage / Drainage Scheme City Sheikhupura at the cost of Rs. 450.000 million.
