The Punjab PDWP approved Five Development Schemes of PPP & Irrigation Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved five development schemes of Public Private Partnership (PPP) & Irrigation Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 9905.59 million.

These schemes were approved in the 42nd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, All Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included: Contract Farming through Public Private Partnership (PPP)(PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 20.000 million. Establishment of Agri-Mall at Karkhana Allat-e-Zari Bahawalpur under PPP Mode at the cost of Rs. 18.70 million, Development of Tourist Resort / Entertainment Park at Uchali Lake, Soon Valley, District Khushab (PPP Mode) (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 20.080 million, Construction of Dadhocha Dam, Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 6137.571 million and Extension & Rehabilitation of Qutab Drain, District Rajanpur at the cost of Rs. 3709.239 million.
