The Punjab PDWP approved Four Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved four development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 12014.584 million.

These schemes were approved in the 52nd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included: Construction of Flyover (Complete Signal-Free Interchange) at Aziz Cross on G.T. Road, Gujranwala (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 7671.328 million, Establishment of Model Cattle Market at Multan at the cost of Rs. 1199.603 million, Reclamation of Waterlogged Agriculture Land of Border Area along Hakra Canal, Bahawalnagar at the cost of Rs. 1535.893 million and Mitigation of Water Logging in District Rahim Yar Khan at the cost of Rs. 1607.760 million.
