The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved three development schemes of the SHC&ME sector, in its 44th meeting with an estimated cost of Rs 7645.927 million.
Chairman P&D Board Mr. Iftikhar Ali Sahoo chaired the meeting.
Approved schemes are as follows:
1) Rehabilitation/ Renovation of Hospitals under Specialized Health
Care & Medical Education Department through Health Council/ Traditional Mode (Mayo Hospital, Lahore) at the cost of Rs 2334.869 million
2) Rehabilitation/ Renovation of Hospitals under Specialized Health Care & Medical Education Department through Health Council / Traditional Mode (Sir Ganga Ram Hospital) revised at the cost of Rs 1287.035 million
3) Revamping of Services Hospital, Lahore at the cost of Rs 4024.023 million
Secretary Health, Members P&D Board, Head of relevant deptts and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
